Landmark Cost of Illness Study Now Underway

If you have a child with juvenile arthritis or other childhood rheumatic disease this is for you...

The first-ever comprehensive national survey of the cost of juvenile arthritis and childhood rheumatic diseases in Australia is now open and we are asking for your participation.

JAFA Has commissioned researchers from the University of Sydney to conduct this landmark national Cost of Illness Study. The study will provide essential baseline information to address knowledge and evidence gaps about the financial impact of juvenile arthritis on the health system, on families and on the wider economy and will inform future national health policy and planning to improve services and support for juvenile arthritis. The study will cover 0-25yr olds.

JAFA is grateful for the generous support of investment company Five V Capital and Adrian and Charlotte MacKenzie who have funded this vital piece of work.
