What we do
- JAFA provides direct services to children and adolescents with JA and their families through support groups, regular online symposia on critical management and research issues in JA, and a secure, digital play space, KidsConnect, to provide peer support and reduce isolation.
- JAFA’s core focus is on political advocacy to raise awareness of JA among high level policy makers in order to effect systemic and sustainable change to improve the lives of children and young people with JA.
-
Implicit in JAFA’s work is connecting the JA community; raising awareness among health professionals and the community along with mobilising the JA and broader community in advocacy campaigns and fundraising activity.
